Kerry Knight has done a fantastic job in transforming our holiday cottage with colour, warmth and texture. The brief was to work with the basic furniture in a three bedroom cottage, adding character and comfort. Kerry made recommendations for each room and then liaised closely with us to agree the final room designs.
Working with my responses to ideas and adapting designs where necessary, Kerry then sourced items from a wide range of places including handmade quilts, lampshades, cushions and blinds, which were all found to fit the design.
Kerry stretched the extra length and had vintage furniture hand-painted to suit the colour scheme, and even found old characterful hooks from eBay! It was great to include such individual items in the cottage.
Kerry then oversaw the redecoration, delivery and installation of everything, ready for a photo shoot. As we live some 300 miles away this was both essential and invaluable.
We were invoiced regularly throughout the process which was really useful when budgeting and approximate costs were always provided before hand.
Kerry is a pleasure to work with, and her enthusiasm is infectious. I would recommend her highly.

Kerry took on the task of renovating our five bedroom house and studio apartment in Cornwall and ended up co-ordinating the entire renovation project. Completed in only 12 weeks and under some pressure Kerry transformed both of them into bright and quirky holiday homes.
As the location prevented us getting together very frequently with Kerry, we used Pinterest to communicate and share design ideas and styles for both properties. This was a huge success and both increased our productivity and design co-ordination and resulted in the beautiful properties that we have today.
Kerry also sourced so many lovely things to fit in with the design, taking responsibility for both local and on-line orders. This included attending furniture auctions to source large furniture items and then refurbishing them to create amazing vintage items to fit with our colour schemes. She has a real eye for spotting something and being able to envisage what it will look like once it’s painted and in place.
Overall she did everything from her original design brief, to recommending tradesmen, to project management and all else in between, she was a pleasure to work with and felt like a friend by the end of the project and we would highly recommend her for your project on the condition that you leave her available to complete our next idea!
